Deprecated and legacy
These docs replace the earlier DockHive documentation. Several things it described are retired and no longer work.
Retired
Section titled “Retired”Hive proposal files
Section titled “Hive proposal files”The YAML “Hive proposal” files (containers, scaling, geographical_scaling, GPU profiles and so on) are no longer used. You don’t write any deployment configuration now: Drone reads your code, builds your app and deploys it. Choose where it runs with regions.
The old app deployment guides
Section titled “The old app deployment guides”The old deployment guides are replaced by:
- Quickstart: deploy with Drone
- Deploy from GitHub and Drone and frameworks
- Framework guides for Flask, Node.js, React and more
The node-provider program
Section titled “The node-provider program”The old program for running a DockHive node, with rewards through Proof of Build (PoB) and Proof of Container Activeness (PoCA), is retired. Existing node setups are no longer part of the network, and no new nodes are accepted under it.
Seacure Weave consensus
Section titled “Seacure Weave consensus”Seacure Weave has moved to Necter Network, which will power DockHive’s upcoming mining app.
