Databases
DockHive runs managed databases in every region. Each database gets its own hostname, a generated username and password, TLS, and a firewall that’s closed until you allow your addresses.
Engines
Section titled “Engines”| Engine | Version | TLS | Backups |
|---|---|---|---|
| PostgreSQL | 15 | Yes | Backup and restore |
| MySQL | 8.0 | Yes | Backup and restore |
| MariaDB | 10.11 | Yes | Backup and restore |
| Redis | 7 | Yes | Backup only |

The version is fixed when you create the database.
