Quickstart: deploy your first app with Drone
Drone is DockHive’s AI deploy agent. It reads your code, builds your app and deploys it, fixing problems along the way. You don’t write any configuration.
You need a DockHive account with a verified email address. Create one free if you haven’t yet.
-
Open the console and go to App Hosting, then start a new app (or open console.dockhive.io/app-hosting directly).
-
Select Repository. Click Connect GitHub and approve access, then pick a repository. Private repositories work once you grant repository access. You can also paste the URL of any public repository under Public Repository.
-
Choose Framework. Click Deploy with Drone.
-
Domain & Region. Choose a region close to your users. You can leave Custom Domain empty: every app gets a free address.
-
Configure & Deploy. Give the project a name, check the branch, and add any environment variables your app needs (one
KEY=valueper line). Click Deploy. -
Watch Drone work: Reading your code, Building, then Live. Open the address it shows, for example
https://wonder-web-8ml2.dockhive.app.
